16th Brampton Live

Brampton Live

The 16th Brampton Live folk roots festival opens its tent flaps this July (16-18) with a bumper line-up - and an innovative song writing and poetry commission celebrating Hadrian's Wall world heritage site. A highlight of the event will be the North of England-themed Saturday evening session which will see The Unthanks (pictured) weaving their magic in their 10-strong line-up.

Other performers confirmed so far are Scottish show-stoppers The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Teesside duo Megson (2010 Folk Awards nominees), popular stand up comedian/singer songwriter Keith Donnelly and resurrected Borders folk heroes Tarras. Big name headline acts will be announced soon.

Discounted Early Bird tickets are now on sale until Sunday 18 April via the festival's website at www.bramptonlive.net.
